Made-to-measure blockout S-Fold curtains cost $236 for an 1800 mm window with a 2400 mm drop and $392 for a 3000 mm sliding door. Thermal blockout with an insulating backing is $299 for the same window.

Getting the room dark
The fabric blocks almost all light. What lets light in is the gap around the curtain. Run the track 150–200 mm past each side of the window, mount it close to the ceiling, and choose a centre opening with overlap.
